It was a tough week but a very good one also. I learned a ton in that week, way more than I thought was posible to learn in a week but I feel comfortable writing query's and doing reports. I don't know what is expected by I feel that I could go into a company and do SSRS with little problem, all I would need to know is a few things company specific but I feel very confident in my SSRS skills at this moment.
The interviews went great, I actually have some of the recruiters say they would forward my resume to other people who they knew were looking for positions, so hopefully something great comes out of all this. I won't lie, out of all the places that interviewed I would absolutely love to work for Pragmatic Works and I hope something can happen in the future between them and I. I learned a lot about resume building and interviewing skills that I did not know.
Jorge was was an amazing teacher, especially for only teaching Foundation for the first time. He seemed like it was his 100th time and he was very comfortable in the class and confident and I believe that helped ease everyone else. I would definitely recommend anyone to take the Foundation Class.
Now it is up to me to take my skills into the next level and buy some SSIS books and learn it on my own so when I hopefully get another interview I can show them even more skills than I had when I finished the Foundation. I don't want to just be stuck in SSRS, I want to learn everything and be great in every aspect. Hopefully my future holds a great job in a great enviroment.
Once again thanks to everyone at Pragmatic Works for giving me the opportunity to take the Foundation class and to all the regular workers who gave me advice outside of the class and helpful hints and their stories of success.
